This example of a start-to-finish project gives a good indication of what we can
do.
The project involved the complete research and presentation of one family’s ancestry
through the maternal line. As well as a family keepsake, it was intended for presentation
at a special family occasion (an 80th birthday celebration).
The project involved :
Researching ancestry as far back as possible, including family-held documents, photos
and memories, on-line records, local research and Record Office visits.
Cataloguing all ancestry into a family tree database.
Building and designing a pictorial representation of the family tree (see Fig 1).
Researching associated trade, local and national history of the timeline.
Documenting the family and associated history and presenting into a presentation
book (see Fig 2).
Speech, presentation and event planning for the family occasion.
